INTRODUCTION

This is the tenth annual North Carolina A&T State University FACTBOOK. It is a compilation of statistical information covering the breadth of the various programs of the University. This quantitative information should be useful to those involved in planning and decision­making and it is hoped that the information will aid in effective use of resources available to the institution.

Data for the FACTBOOK were assembled and compiled by the Coordinator for University Planning at NCA&T from current institutional databases. Comparison data came from the Statistical Abstract of Higher Education in North Carolina, published annually by the University of North Carolina General Administration.

Special acknowledgment is due the staff of the Office of Institutional Research and Planning for  assistance and organizational support.
