This is the first electronic publication of the North Carolina A&T State
University FACTBOOK via the internet. This is the eighth annual edition of
the FACTBOOK. It is a compilation of statistical
information covering the breadth of the various programs of the
University. This quantitative information is useful to
those involved in planning and decisionmaking and it is
hoped that the information will aid in effective use of resources
available to the institution.
Data for the fact book were assembled and compiled by the
Coordinator for University Planning at NC A&T from historical
information in the institution's files. Comparison data came from
the Statistical Abstract of Higher Education in North Carolina,
published annually by the University of North Carolina General
Administration.
Special acknowledgment is due to the staff of the Office of
Institutional Research and Planning for their assistance for
providing organizational support and to Computing Center staff
for assistance in adding the FACTBOOK to the Office of
Institutional Research and Planning web site .
