INTRODUCTION

This is the twelfth annual North Carolina A&T State University FACTBOOK, a compilation of basic statistical information about various programs of the University. This quantitative and analytic information supports executive decision making and is useful to those involved in program planning, management and assessment. It is hoped this information will aid in effective use of resources available to the University.

Data for the FACTBOOK were assembled and compiled by the Director of Institutional Research at NCA&T from current institutional and other databases. Comparison data comes from the Statistical Abstract of Higher Education in North Carolina, published annually by the University of North Carolina General Administration, and other sources.

Special acknowledgment is due the staff of the former Office of Institutional Research and Planning for assistance and organizational support.
